hate to tell you,but your dreaming.your probably confusing oil with natural gas.if thats truly what you believe ,i sure cant change your mind ,but all it takes is to check the known reserves in the US( you can pretty much rule out any future finds),its oil consumption figures, plus figure in its future consumption rates. keep in mind that the off shore reserves in the artic was just deemed undrillable which is a huge hit. (even though the japanese think they can do it,shell says they cant, and their no slouch at finding oil) we can fuel with natural gas,but we'll probably not see it on the farm for some time,or at least until we start putting in fueling stations and have some way of moving it.its not just oil ,coal reserves of the best coal is about gone forcing the burning of lower grades of coal which brings more and more regulations against coal fired generating plants. hydro electric has gone about as far as it can go since most major rivers are dammed, and the drought this year really has shown it vulnerabilities. its not just oil we have to be concerned with, population is simply depleting the resources world wide.
