made it back, whew! 2500 miles in 3 1/2 days , untold gallons of fuel for 2 pickup trucks, 1 huge problem to handle with my 86 year old mother who has demincia [ advanced] and that was a vacation? the high point was a stop just outside mineral wells Texas at the Vietnam war museum, its a young muesuem but well worth the visit, the first thing i saw topping the hill was a UH-1-h huey about 30 feet off the ground in a steep right bank just feet from the hiway that will grab your attention! the whole place was great, neat, clean, numerous vehicles on display and a 1/2 size version of the wall in washington, complete and upgraded , worth seeing

As I grew older (7), it was the thrill of my day to ride or drive on the tractor. My Papaw had a 1954 IH Super A that he bought to replace a Cub.
