Lincoln used to make what was called a Linc-thaw for thawing frozen pipes that you hooked up to a welding machine. It wasn't available in Canada because it wasn't CSA approved. The AC 225 used to have a circle around the 75 amp setting because the duty cycle could be exceeded, on this setting only, for thawing pipes. Using a welder to thaw pipes is very hard on the machine. It's a direct short and has caused several fires from thawing pipes. I would guess that's why they quit making them. For a manual, look on the lincoln site for a Linc-thaw manual or possibly an AC 225 model a few years older.
