40 + year old tractor can vary from junk to very nice.Tires ,motor,clutch ,TA on IH can make thousands of dollars difference.I do know newer tractors such as the 86 series are fairly reasonable for what you gain .4010s are bigger and handier.I like 1206s for their look but they like the 706 dont shift the greatest and the rear end are a little noisier but the motors especially the German Diesel were very reliable in their time.Hydraulics werent the best on IHs
