Tore down my Oliver 88 engine. I am going to need two pistons, liners, and rings for these pistons. These pistons are m & w 3 7/8 inch bore with a horseshoe shape molded on top of pistons. Why is this horseshoe shaped object molded on top of pistons?? I need help finding these pistons. I live in Arkansas and Oliver was never a major brand here, so parts are not plentiful. Any help or suggestions will be more than appreciated. Thanks.
