I never heard of the stuff till I starting surfing iboats.com. I read the MSDS and the why it was invented and it made sense. I mean if OMC needed a fuel/engine treatment for 2 cycle (primarily) engines and had this formula developed especially for that, must be something to it. Iboats has instructions on a process called "decarb" where they clean up engines clogged up with combustion by products.

I use it in all my 2 cycle engines. Is it snake oil? I "dunno". Just haven't had a problem in any of them since using it.

One day when I was only using it in my boat I thought I would see what would happen to an old weed eater and a chain saw that I thought I had put to rest. I resurrected both of them and wondered why I had bought replacements for them.

I use Startron Starbright diesel for my farm diesel to keep the algae out and use Stabil red in my 4 cycle lawn mowers and especially in my backup power unit. Haven't had a problem with any of these engines and seldom if ever have the need to work on them. About all I do any more is change the oil....Great!!!!!

My money, my stuff, my not wanting to work on what doesn't necessarily have to fail cause I sorta gave up mechanicing, my decision.

Your money, your stuff, your decision.

Mark
