Went 1 mi north of Craig, Iowa yesterday to join the Pioneer Machinery club plow 80 acres of wheat stubble. I am not sure how many units showed up, but the better part of that 80 was black in around 4 hrs. I took my 1957 JD 720 Diesel and had a wonderful time. There were about 8 or 10 acres that the long straw was tough and balled up under most of our older plows, so they plowed that with a big Red unit with six bottoms. I'll post some pics when I get them from the gal that took them.
