I enjoy the pics and comments from other countries as well, like you enjoy seeing how it is done in other areas of the world.
There has been a series of photos over in the Combine forum from a fella in Europe for a few months, very interesting, bet a lot of folks haven't seen that, how they do silage and farm on rock cliffs over there. Neat stuff.
Cattle eat the leaves and husks like hay. The stalkes themselves that don't eat very much. But still get a lot of value out of it.
In some areas they grind up the cornstalk bales and mix with hay, sorta make a dry mush out of it all, and then the cattle eat up most of what you bale.
