bingo! Luckily I was asleep already when the 12 hrs passed. Hurts a whole lot more today. Dr. believes I should recover well. There is no bone or joint damage besides this miniscus. Already does not hurt to bend knee by squatting. IE bend without using right legs muscles. But it does hurt to stand or rotate specific ways. Or to use right legs muscles to draw foot up. I'm in a Recliner with ice on it for now. Gently bending it periodly to keep it flexible. Tks for all the replies and well wishes. Totally fogged over and showers today so no time lost outside which is where I'd rather be. Peter
