The 39's had a different transmission cover and most of them I've seen have different wheels. Seats are usually the old style. Look for numbers on castings, sometimes they give you a date if you find them post them here. If it has rubber rear tires there is a date on the inside of the rim if the rim hasn't rusted out or been changed in the last 70 years. Post pictures, some of the Gurus here can point out other features to ID the year.
