Nope, never was a Catholic. But until I not fed up with church ideology and preacher greed regularly attended several different Church's. If you go have a look at the history of any religion it's all about control. Both of the individual and of the money. Do you really believe that God wants someone to toss money needed for thier family in the collection plate? Yet preachers of all stripes love to point out the woman who tossed in her last money. Who do you think is in better standing. The person who is a believer because they just do or someone who is good and believes only because they are afraid of going to that warm place? Every religion thinks it's the one, true religion. And there are many. Most use fear to try and control the masses. Me, I think a person is going to be judged by their actions tward others, not how much they gave the chruch or how often they attended church.
