I'm restoring a 2444 which doesn't have a PTO, just a gear on front of clutch housing run by gear on transmission input shaft and a hollow counter shaft in transmission. My IT service manual indicates the hollow counter shaft was used with the constant running PTO which requires the double clutch, which I don't have. Is it possible to add the transmission driven PTO without changing the hollow counter shaft?
