In my opinion what ever you did for others to better their lives is your impact on the world. Don't expect too many people to appreciate it because someone always has a different outlook. For the last forty years I have tried to help anybody who needs it. Usually I found out afterwards they really were liars or cheats bbut thats OK because I di the right thing as I could see it. Now comes the final blow. Eight years ago the well that supplied my community was up for sale. The owner said if it wasn't sold, water prices would double. So, several of us went together to buy the well. We then formed a non-profit coorp and sold share to those using the well if they wanted to belong to the corp. Those not buying paid more for water than those buying in. We set up a fund to replace the well and do rep[air. It grew to 16000. So we invested 9000 into an annuity tha paid 5% and now the new people are mad because they can';t raid the fund for their own pockets. Called me all kinds of names. So what I did to preserve their well being and provide for free water for years to come, was for naughyt but I would do it all over again. I will never quit helping people till my ashes are [planted somewhere.
