Thats about right here. I paid 500$ a piece for bare 8 ton gears in good shape but bad tires. 200$ a piece for 4t new holland gears with junk racks.
I'd never buy any more 4 ton gears though. My spare tires don't fit, they are very light for any kind of modern tractor. We use them for hay wagons but they are a pain as you can't put any weight on them. We put 300 bales on the 8 ton gears, 120 bales is a load on the little tires on the 4 ton gears.
