I sprayed the bagsworms I had with BT bifren. It was a liquid type and I got it from the local Agri supply. Mixed some up in a handheld sprayer and soaked all the trees with bagworms. I sprayed when the bagworms where active and had a 100 percent kill rate with only one application. Handpicking was outta the question for me, as I had 1000's of them. BT is odorless and has a 3-6 month residual. I also use BT on fire ants mounds and if they are real bad, I spray the whole yard. BT can be used for termites, ticks, fleas and most other pests. Once it dries, it is safe to let the kids and dogs out to play.
I bought all the stuff lowes, walmart carries through the years but this BT bifren is the best I've found. Knocks them pest's out for months not weeks like that other weak mess. I highly recommend you give it a try. 8)
