I've bought Carolina's ever since and they hold up great and are a good sturdy boot. I like the short linesman's boots and they are made in USA. I did buy a pair of their insulated logger style and was bummed to find out that model was imported. They fit like a pair of worn in slippers though...

Look up Danner boots if you want excellent hunting boots made in USA. They are in Oregon and make some real nice boots. They also make boots that are sold under other names.
