For us a frost is that ice sheet that forms on car windows even though the tempature is not 32. It will be mid november before I see my first frost and a little south of me where dad lives it will be mid december for the first frost.
We might get 5 to 10 days a year where it gets cold enough at night where we have to worry about our water pipes freezing. It is VERY rare for my pond to get ice on it.
