typical one of these folks will have 20 years military,that they went into directly from high school or college,another 25 or thirty in civil service,before they retire.then are recruited by contractors working gov contracts,just as i was.so their legaly retired military,retired civil service,and very often die still employed by the gov contractors.five this year have died while still in service in my area alone. literally a lifetime of service to the US.those who are eligable for military insurance are not eligible for most benifits,most are not eligable for ss. some live long enough that their private contractor service gives them eligitability for ss benifits however.folks have 60-70-years service and cant draw any of the benifits a normal american depends on.
