Well,
Since last Thussday the clouds have bee down to 1000' ABSL. We are at 1400' plus. Mist and rain for a week now. Not complaining, we have only had 26.53" rain since Jan 1, of this year. May sound like a lot to many of you, but around here it all goes down the Hudson River or the Susquehanna River in a big hurry without soaking in much. We are on a natural divide between two distinct ecosystems, (everything is downhill from here.) Anyway these pics. are from both sides of the ridge and within a 2mi, perimiter from my house. The uncles dropped 30A of prime 4th cut last Thurs, (total loss) Started plowing down the oat stubble, nothing else to do! It's rained every day since until today. Temp clumbed to 74F today, with on and off sunshine. This weekend is supposed to be much cooler, with the weather that is coming in from western US and Canada earlier this week. I think my Case Bros.from WY an MN are out to get revenge, LOL.
Loren the Acg.

PS will post many more pics this weekend, too many for one post tonight.

My Dad was wanting to put in a garden but couldn't operate the 8N and handle the old horse drawn plow he had found and rigged up to use with the tractor. Well, he decided to go get Mom out of the house and have her drive the tractor while he walked behind the plow. You got to understand that while my Mom is a hard worker who will always help whenever she can... she had never operated farm machinery before that day. Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o ... [Read Article]
