More than once I've seen an early freeze up and snow that stays on the ground till April. The Halloween snowstorm we had in the 90s was a year like that. Better check your batteries, antifreeze, winter gear and hunting licenses. We had lovely bluebird skys and mid 70s temps for a week here. But today she turned 20� colder and it was windy. Blew the Ficus over which was on the deck all summer so I brought it in tonight for the season. Temps are gonna hover near freezing for the next few nights anyway. Maybe we'll have tracking snow for the deer opener 11/3. Winter's on it's way.
