Not a foot, but...
One day when I was about 12 I ran to get the grain truck out of the shed. As it backed into the light I saw a mouse sitting on her hind legs by the gear shift. It was harvest and I was in a hurry so I figured she would move when I took off. She did. Right up my right leg.
I jumped out of the truck and turned off the key as I left. That old truck was still chugging across the barnyard. I hit the ground and grabbed around my leg at the thigh. I jumped up and down until she fell out and mashed her with my boot.
I've wondered many times since what would have happened if she would have gone into my boot. Also wonder what would have happened if that truck wouldn't have stopped short of the fuel barrels. That wasn't a concern at the time.
Needless to say, I tuck my overalls into my boots every time I get into the grain truck to this day. Whew.
