I got lucky and found out that GSW was sold to another company, who sold off the vinyl downspout and gutter line to Amerimax (based in Texas, I believe).
When I contacted Amerimax, they said their products are available through Lowes and Home Depot, though usually only by special order.
The Bemis Rainmaster style of smooth, 2" x 2" downspout is apparently still available from the mfg (though their web site doesn't list it anymore).
I hope that helps someone find the hard-to-find parts they need.
