Post wedding gift update: The gift was well liked.
My SIL was the 1st to tell me she loved them. Thought they were a unique, great idea.
Bride liked them and remarked how gorgeous genuine Silver Eagles are. The engraving is artwork. Next time I will plan further ahead and get coins from another country.
I have to share that when you have these coins in your hands the sheer weight of them is impressive.
Coins like from the good old days when money was real and not just paper fiat money.
May just start buying a few of these every month to hoard away.
