We got a soaker yesterday, and today its foggy/ misty right now, and as dry as it was this year, we are getting caught up on rain. From recollection, this area does not seem to get into drought conditions often, but with the mild weather going on for about a year, this summer really dried things out, know at least one person who is having another well driven(pounder not drilled). I too hope others get badly needed rain, you can clearly see the effects by observing things, I cut grass 5 less times than last year, which is fine with me LOL !
I've been in the surrounding corn fields adjacent, the BPA will be down because of the lack of rain in mid June to July, some areas of fields won't produce, other areas look much better, normally its wall to wall, full ears, well that is until the critters take their share LOL !
