Been running Firebone, Good Beer and Unloyals on my wagons fer years. I may not always get as many miles or years out of them as a new one, but at $150 for a new one, I'll make do with the store brand. Some of the last 'new' ones I have are on the manure spreader. Looking at them closely, they're recapped truck tires. I've had to replace two of them, and a neighbor gives me the tires off his tractor when he changes them so DOT is happy. They look better than the 'new' ones on the spreader.

Today's Featured Article - Product Review: Black Tire Paint - by Staff. I have been fortunate in that two of my tractors have had rear tires that were in great shape when I bought the tractor. My model "H" even had the old style fronts with plenty of tread. My "L" fronts were mismatched Sears Guardsman snow tires, which I promptly tossed.
