Only folks I can count on to show up are the Amish to do work around my place. . . problem is they are so busy that it takes 'em six months or so before they are available. Even then you dont know what day they will be there or have an exact finish date. Had them do a porch project on the house and it turned out great. Father in law is a contractor and when I told him what they charged (hourly rate plus materials at cost) he said he wouldnt have done it for three times that. Guess that is why he didnt get the job!!
