Yep, all us old folks want to fix the debt problem, just so long as no one touches our own, or our kids benefits. When we paid into medicare no one knew medical costs (mostly new drugs, new tests, and fancy buildings) would escalate in price at 10 times the rate of inflation. We can raise cane but until medical costs are under control this situation will not get better.
We brag about having the best healthcare in the world,(hope so because it is by far the most expensive) but we have never been over there to try out their system. It is all a local "I like my doctor" opinion.
