I thought the US would suffer a financial panic when the T Bill auctions failed. Currently the world isn't interested in buying American debt - the returns are too low and the risk is much to high (I don;t think anyone could look at the US financial picture and think it was AAA rated). The fed is creating money with a few key strokes on a computer (doesn't even bother to print it) and buying up massive amounts of US debt.
The US is doing exactly what the Weimar Republic did in the 1920s and what Zimbabwe recently has done (probaby where our Kenyan got the idea).
