Well the tongue is a bit short for horses, but not much. and a little long for tractors. 6 ft is more common. But it likely has a pivoting front axle (fifth Wheel). Those deserve a long tongue to apply leverage to those wheels when they go over bumps or such. If it has a tight structure to the box, it could be a grain hauler. But it would be very heavy if the sides were even 30 inches tall. Wagons were multi purpose in most cases because they were likely to be the only way to haul. Jim
