Tractor is running, and a little dusty maybe ?
I remember my father doing the same thing on our 2010 JD, probably the same age, took me for a ride, through our farm here, over the property line up along the high voltage power line easement, to an embankment overlooking a semi marsh area that was burning, fire department was on the scene putting it out. All these years later, I remember that one ride in vivid detail, especially the grass/brush fire which was spread out, and it probably was not the safest thing to do, but I sure was hooked, a charter member fender rider until I could run a tractor.
