The cutterhead does not concern me as much as is my tongue long enough to be able to turn without a corn head snoot going thru a rear tractor tire when turning to the right.Two local Deere dealers do not know and I hate to put money into something that I can't use.The custom operater who did mine last year just told me he sold his 444 corn head that he used on his 5400 self propelled.I wish he would have told me a couple of months ago so I would have more time to get something together.Last fall when finished he asked me if I would want a bag again this year and I said yes, now the corn is almost ready and I stopped to talk to him this morning and he tells me he sold the head late last fall.
