Don't know about the 44 but I always thought my H has sort of steps built into it. I usually approach the right rear and put my left foot on the horseshoe drawbar, my right foot on top of the axle and then swing my left foot over the seat area and sit down. What kind of steps will work for your tractor will depend partly on whether you have fenders, an add-on hitch or other things that might be in the way. Zach
