I go to the shows mostly for the swapmeet stuff . You have to get right in there with there stuff to see what they got for sale , you cant see nothing buzzing up and down the laneways . I have had 5 back surgeries a hip replacment and a knee replacment on the other side and it is very hard for me to walk but I do . I have a handicap permit but I dont take that last parking spot up front because there may be someone that needs it worse than me . I have a Polaris side by side and love it on the farm but that is where it belongs , running around in a pedestrian area is no place for it !! It may come to the day I cant hobble through the shows anymore and then I will use a small elec. cart or jazzi type of thing or just stay home . I talk to alot of folks and alot of them dont go anymore because of all the carts . A few yrs. back at the Brookville IN. show it rained and then rained some more . The tire guy sold every mudslinging tire he had that would fit a cart and they were driving around just to see if they could get through it . They had it so stiredup and muddy you could not walk through it and this was not just kids the so called grownups were the worst .

My Dad was wanting to put in a garden but couldn't operate the 8N and handle the old horse drawn plow he had found and rigged up to use with the tractor. Well, he decided to go get Mom out of the house and have her drive the tractor while he walked behind the plow. You got to understand that while my Mom is a hard worker who will always help whenever she can... she had never operated farm machinery before that day. Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o ... [Read Article]
