Your overdrive ratio is 6.666 to one. To carry 8 hp, the driven pulley must be about 6 inches in dia. The drive pulley would be radical in size. If you used a double belt system with a jackshaft, and a output shaft, you would be able to use two 20 inch drive and two 6" driven pulleys (approximate sizes) to get close. Pretty pricy and pretty much more than a replacement engine. And then the driveshaft. Jim
