Easy conversion. If I can do it anybody can. Mine goes on a Westendorf loader quick tach on one of the loader arms. The hoses plug into the outlets for the grapple claw. Motor is off a Deere bean head reel. To counter the weight of the motor hanging on the one side I used a spring that pulls up on that side. You don't need much pull from the spring.
The hydraulics on the tractor aren't much for GPM's so it doesn't turn all that fast but it does the job just fine. I haven't stalled it yet and I've dug through some hard graveled laneway with it. Your skid steer most likely has a bigger GPM pump so you will probably get a little more speed, but speed really isn't all that important. One nice thing about hydraulic drive is you can reverse it if you need to. Jim
