I have a landpride RCR2596 rotary cutter, I have had 3 gearbox"s repaired under warranty, now the warranty is over, I have found a replacement gearbox for $395.00 its gear ratio is 1:1.5, but there is another gearbox that will work to its only $298.00 and its gear ratio is 1:1.26, both will bolt right on only difference is the ratio, it doesn"t seem like much of a difference? what do you think? this is a 8 foot mower with 2 outer gear boxes, I do alot of cutting and looking to have a spare around
