Our old stallion was one generation from the States (both parents were brought over)... he was a little hard headed the 1st 2 weeks we got him as a 2 year old, but turned out to be trustworthy and gentle as a lamb (most times).... We bought a yearling from here that was several generations here that was just impossible. All progress you made one day would be out the window the next....... Sold him to a little scrawny german lady and he met his match... She's tickled to death with him.... I like the laid back, easy goin horses that only come from big open places.... I think the confines of stalls and small areas get to them over generations.... Could be wrong, but it seems like it....
