We had our annual Labor day Threshing show today. Town of about 300 people usually brings in about 2000 people. Numbers were down a bit this year but the weather was GREAT. Ran 7 racks of oats through two threshing machines. Had a buzzsaw and lots of small engines. We were missing our usual guy with the 4 hole Sandwich corn sheller and flour mill due to bad politics within the club(long story). We need more demonstrations like a hay press, sorghum mill, etc. but it was a good show anyway. By the way the steam engines are a Case and a Port Huron. My wife sets up the parade and they were down to 80 some entries this year, I think all time high was about 120. I didn't get a chance to take any pics until it was done so I missed a lot.
