I think about some fellow who is into old tractors and maybe just got his first computer and is trying his best to share his thoughts with a couple of fingers and thumbs. Maybe he wasn't the best speller when he graduated from 6th grade 60 years ago and his writing skills likely haven't improved since then. But he might have something to offer here, be it wit, wisdom, wrenching or even an acceptable recipe for cooking squash. I think of how most of us were a bit timid when we first started posting here and could easily have been run off by a bunch of spelling police. I also tend to think about how much effort it takes to read, digest and then reply to the posts here. Compare that to how little effort it takes to sit in front of a TV and download all that trash into your mind. So ten to one I'd rather see a fellow using his noggin no matter how poorly he spells or punctuates. Lastly, it amazes me how many errors I make my ownself. Though proofread my posts and use google constantly to check my spelling I still make a lot of mistakles here. Knowing how often I sin makes me reluctant to cast the first stone. What does bother me a lot however is the silly ways folks try to get around the potty filters here. It's one thing to let out a blue word while you're working. It's a whole diferent thing, a sophmoric thing to purposely practice vulgarity in your writing
