Hi Steve - Great tractor! our '39 is still in regular use! Point gap .020, firing order 1,2,4,3; timing 30 deg advanced. Mag impulse delay 30 deg. Timing set by rotating the mag and aligning to the "fire" mark on the flywheel, visible in the hole in the mounting pad on the left side of the tractor (after finding and marking it with chalk or white paint!) Poor man's approach, will get you running: adjust the mag so the impulse trips just past top dead center. I strongly recommend the I&T shop manual for service assistance - AC-11 covers the B and others. Under $25 from our hosts - Yesterday's Tractors. Good luck; drop me a note if you need more help.
