This morning they took out the breathing tube and withdrew the anesthetic. She is more or less awake, but very groggy. She knew who I was and the date ,more or less, but not where she was. After she was told, she said "I want to go HOME"! Later on she asked, "Did they fix my foot"?
When she was a lttle more aware they asked her to wiggle her toes, and she got a little wiggle out of the injured foot. That is the best thing I have seen all week.
