I have pretty much the same experience as fixerupper has. Unless you"re letting it set for many months, it"s not a problem. The people who claim it"s a problem/bad news is usually on small enignes or an old tractor, usually setting outside uncovered. Ethanol fuel may have a shorter storage life. Everything gas powered at my place that doesn"t get regular usage gets Stabil treated fuel right when the can is filled at the station. I haven"t had to rebuild a carb in 10 years now. One thing that makes me laugh is the people who hate ethanol and love Sea Foam. Sea Foam"s main ingredient is ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL...
