the water in gas is changed to solubilizes when you use most products. They have alcohol which causes it to again solubilize and then pass through the combustion as alcohol burns it takes the water change with it. There are a few products that do not have alcohol as its base which should be used where aluminum such as the tank or fuel lines are. Alcohol with aluminum will make a corrsive element causing aluminum to break down plus set at the bottom of tank or cause a film to develope eating the aluminum. Hope this helps. You can buy racing alcohol at about $4.50 to $5.00 a gallon at a lot of race tracks especially where they run dragsters and such. Better then using the drug store watered down brands.
