Drive the shift lever swivel pin out, lift the shift lever up & out, use a long bar to line up all 3 shift rails, replace the shift lever & pin. There are small metal plugs at each end of the shift lever swivel pin (IH part # 172529). I have seen the pin replaced by a longer bolt with a nut securing it in place.
