Doesn't really matter what everyone else thinks, if you like it that's all that counts. I personally would love to be able to do myself what you can do, I'm just not in the finanical position to do it. I think everything you post is great, I don't like to depend on anyone or anything to get done what I have to get done. Some may call it being cheap, but I consider it a challenge. Keep up the good work and the great post and pictures, I know I look for your name everytime I get on this fourm.
Jus to let you know some background on me, I bought an old farm homestead in Iowa about 8 years ago. 1 year into the renovations, I was out cutting down some over growth. I had a 50 foot elm comdown on top of me, lost my left leg, broke my back and then had a blood clot hit my heart and then 2 years after that, had a blood clot hit my small intestine and lost 90% os it. Had a doctors appt. the other day, surgeon said I'm a miricale, he does not know any one else that has survived with only 10% of there small intestine. I still work full time and have a second full time job, just trying to support my family. Things are really tight, do to the fact that I was off work for most of the last 5 years, but things are now looking up. Right now, I'm working on my barn, which I'm turing into a workshop for both woodworking and working on cars. Love to do everything I can on my own. Place was neglected for a long time and it's up to me to make this place into a home for me and my children, and I have 6 of them. So when some tells you that you can't do it or your not doing it the way it should be done, tell them to stick it. Do what you have to do to survive and tke care of you and yours, not all of us have the plush life of some of these members. Sorry if this has turned into a rant or pissed some of you off, but I personally get tired of people telling others that what they do is not the way that it should be done, by their own standards anyway. Lyle, like I said, keep up the good work and I'll always be looking for your next post.
