Just picked up a '97 Chevy 3500Hd with a 6.5 TD.
Runs pretty decent with almost 300k on it, but it smokes blue pretty bad at idle after it gets warm. It will almost engulf the truck sitting at a light, but doesen't seem to bad going down the road.
I'm kinda thinking turbo seals. I bought a supposed good turbo from the previous owner for a few bucks, but was wondering if I'm on the right track before I go to the trouble of swapping.
Anything else I should look at? With the mileage on this and what I gave for it, it'll just get run til it dies. Not looking to spend a whole lot on it.
