73 to 80 were the same, some of the pickup stuff will fit, doors ect, but dash and cab you must stay with the medium duty trucks as there are some differences,like pickups, chevy stuff has slightly fancier trim than the gmc 81 to 87 dash cover will fit the cab, but will look slightly odd on a 73 to 80 dash , vent windows are slightly different 81 and up will fit the 73 to 80 door, but you must use the whole vent window assembly that mounts in the door
