Startging and charging systems you have to take step by step procedure to diagnose them. One quick way to check to see if you have continuity thru all your charging wires I usually hook my battery charger up to the battery terminal on the generator or alternator and see if my amp meter on the vehicle shows charging or not. If not I do a voltage check with a volt meter at each connection.
