Now you know why they demand scatter shields on certain vehicles at the drag races. Years ago when they were just getting started you could stand right down by dragsters. One time in San Diego I was pretty close to a small dragster when the clutch let loose. A piece hit the flag man and knocked him out. The next car went off and there no one even close to it.
