Yes that would be very similar to charging the 12 volt batteries on a 24V JD diesel by attaching a 12 V battery charger to each 12V without disconnecting any tractor cables/wires. I done that several times plus attached 2(two) 12V booster vehicles to each battery to quickly jump 3010/4020's off that have drained batteries.
Caution: don't let bumpers of either boosting vehicle touch tractor frame. Be sure to attach red jumper cable + to +,black jumper cable - to -.
